Florida Atlantic University offers several undergraduate and graduate programs designed to enhance the skills and leadership abilities of future healthcare professionals. Membership in COHE is a vital step toward individual professionalism, and preparation for advancement in healthcare.

As a COHE member you can expect to actively participate in open forum discussions, educational programs, research assignments, conferences, internships, and fellowships, all designed to enhance your healthcare knowledge and employment skills.

The College of Healthcare Executives at Florida Atlantic University is committed to the following objectives:

- To promote an environment conducive to educational and ethical development of personal, professional, and social skills in a manner that will enhance the attainment of an effective leadership position in health services organizations.

- To provide a vehicle for constructive student involvement, recognition and representation in the profession of health services administration.

- To develop an association with local and regional health services executive groups to enhance academic and career opportunities. -ACHE, MGMA, HIMSS, HFMA, etc.

- To establish congruence between graduate and professional continuing educational activities to foster a skillful and sensitive approach to health services administration.

- To inform members, potential members, and others in the community of the purposes of The College of Healthcare Executives (COHE), its goals, programs, and benefits, and reason for advancing in status within the College. COHE is a mechanism to exemplify and encourage pride in the profession of health services administration.

- To provide students and faculty in health services administration and programs of related health professions a forum for professional dialogue.

Membership - Provide us your name, preferred email contact, program of study, level (undergraduate or graduate), expected graduation date, and field(s) of interest in healthcare.

COHE membership is open to FAU students. The cost of membership varies from year to year, but is usually about $30.00 for the year. For the 2009-2010 academic year, membership dues are $25.00.
